Per the Society's Constitution (Clause 4), membership is open to registered medical practitioners practicing Urology under five categories.

One-time · Life membership
  • Holds M.Ch. Urology, DNB Urology, or an equivalent foreign qualification.
  • Practicing the Urological specialty in Uttar Pradesh at the time of election.
  • Must already hold Full membership of the Urological Society of India (USI).

Sponsored by two Full members of the Society and elected by the Council.

One-time · Life membership
  • Qualified surgeons in India interested in Urology, devoting part of their time to its practice or teaching.
  • Consultants of other medical disciplines in UP or elsewhere in India, with a postgraduate qualification professionally related to Urology.

One-time · Life membership
  • Postgraduate students currently admitted to M.Ch. (Urology) or DNB (Genitourinary Surgery).
  • Automatically eligible for conversion to Full membership upon obtaining full USI membership.

  • Qualified urologists residing and practicing in a foreign country.
  • Must have residence, training background, or family roots in Uttar Pradesh.

No fee · Limited to 15 members
  • Urological Surgeons of good standing in foreign countries who have shown interest in the Society.
  • Contribution to Urology in India must be of exceptional merit.
  • The number of such members at any given time shall not exceed fifteen.
